ROLE PURPOSE 

We're collaborating with a respected insurance company to fill an essential role, seeking a professional who can make an impact.We are looking for a skilled professional to join our client's team as a Claims Account Manager. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of outsourced claims administration in the UK and Ireland with a key strategic partner, ensuring compliance with regulatory and conduct standards while meeting commercial and contractual objectives. You will represent the company in client, outsourced partner, and internal meetings, providing updates on performance against contractual, regulatory, and commercial benchmarks.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversee claims activities with outsourced partners, ensuring company standards and best practices through regular reporting and meetings.
  • Develop and implement frameworks to manage the outsourced supply chain, aligning with business goals and customer outcomes.
  • Monitor the commercial performance of outsourced partners, identifying and driving improvements through data analysis and execution best practices.
  • Present performance updates internally and externally, clearly highlighting status, issues, and action plans.
  • Execute third-party administrator audits to strengthen the outsourcing control environment.
  • Ensure governance frameworks are in place, with clear policies, processes, and procedures embedded throughout operations.
  • Collaborate with the Complaints team to manage outsourced complaints activities.
  • Oversee systems supporting outsourced operations, addressing defects, identifying improvements, and supporting business testing as needed.

EXPERIENCE 

  • Support and management of important customer relationships and partners (ideally in the insurance environment.)
  • In-depth knowledge of UK Personal Lines Home & Contents and Accident & Health Travel Insurance products.
  • Management of repair and restoration within the supply chain.
  • Experience in navigating multiple reporting lines is an advantage.
  • Fluent English.
  • Good MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS and Data reporting suites, such as Qlik Sense or Power BI.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • A recognised degree or equivalent academic qualification or an equivalent insurance industry certification.
