Description
The successful candidate will likely ahve the following repsonsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial operations within the department.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports and statements.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to optimise financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Play a key role in financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Professional accounting certification (e.g. ICAS, ACCA, CIMA).
- Exp in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to mentor a team.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
Job Offer
This role offers a competitive salary between £55,000-£60,000 plus benefits.
