Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of accounting practices, budgeting, finance business partnering and financial risk management.

Description

The successful candidate will likely ahve the following repsonsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of financial operations within the department.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to optimise financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Play a key role in financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Professional accounting certification (e.g. ICAS, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Exp in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to mentor a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.

Job Offer

This role offers a competitive salary between £55,000-£60,000 plus benefits.
