Meraki Talent are delighted to be partnering with our market leading client again for the position of Finance Manager. Due to the recent delivery of new finance operating model and internal rotation the position of Manager has become available.This is an outstanding opportunity to join a hugely successful global organisation based in the heart of Glasgow city centre. The current team are responsible for front to back accounting, control, reporting and quality assurance, whilst working to timely deadlines.Key duties of the role include:

  • Manage the accounting, reporting, and analysis for aspects of the firms general ledger and financial control process.
  • Work closely with Senior Managers, Head of Finance and wider finance teams to ensure interpretation and implementation of new accounting policies.
  • Ensure a strong control environment is maintained.
  • Consult with other finance functions on Quality Assurance model to improve quality of reporting and control.
  • In depth analysis of large datasets to provide information and insights across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Key project 'point of contact' on global system role out and wider Assurance transformation.
  • Deliver continuous improvements through automation and process enhancement.

Experience required:

  • ICAS (ACA) or ACCA Qualified Accountant with 1-2 PQE.
  • Strong experience in finance processes, audit, controls and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
