Finance Manager (Hybrid) Glasgow City CentreCirca £45,000An established accountancy practice in Glasgow is seeking a proactive and experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is essential for managing client relationships, overseeing account management processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services. What is offered:

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 5, support staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to meet client needs.
  • Review and approve financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and present reports on client accounts and team performance to the Managing Director.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, changes in legislation, and best practices to provide informed advice to clients.

The ideal candidate:

  • Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
  • Proven experience in an accountancy practice, with a strong background in client management.
  • Demonstrated management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
