Meraki Talent’s client is seeking a Head of Finance for a newly created role.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the CFO, lead the finance team, and implement process improvements.
Key responsibilities include preparing management accounts, financial forecasts, and managing cash flow.
Candidates must be ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with experience in process improvements and finance systems implementation.
The position offers an annual salary of up to £70k, along with flexible benefits and hybrid working options.

Meraki Talent’s market leading client are looking to add a Head of Finance to the current team. This is a newly created role, and the successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and be responsible for leading the existing team, identifying & implementing process improvements, establishing effective finance policies and management information systems. Key duties of the role include:

Preparation and production of monthly and quarterly management accounts to challenging deadlines. Reporting to senior management regarding any variances, opportunities, and risks.
Production of financial forecasts, working closely with budget holders and other key stakeholders.
Preparation of the annual budget and plans, including income & expenditure budgets, salary budgets, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
Lead on cash flow and treasury management.
Identifying and implementing process improvements around reporting, controls, and financial processes.
Reporting on key performance metrics including cash flow forecasting, financial analysis, and budgets.
Management and development of the finance team. Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the team to enable them to perform at the highest standard.

Experience required:

ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Excellent written and communication skills. Comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders.
Work to challenging month and quarter end deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills.
Experience of implementing new finance systems.
