About the Role

As Head of Finance, you will lead a finance team, ensuring financial stability, compliance, and strong cost controls. You will play a key role in stakeholder communication, board reporting, and finance transformation, improving efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

  • Manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering high performance.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and auditing requirements.

  • Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO, board, and stakeholders.

  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance financial performance.

  • Collaborate with the wider business to integrate financial considerations into business strategies.

What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong track record in cash management, financial controls, and team leadership.

  • Experience in a senior financial leadership role (5+ years).

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to dive into detail when required.

  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to partner with business leaders.

  • Proven ability to implement processes and strengthen financial controls.

  • Excellent board reporting skills, with the ability to provide key financial insights.

  • Experience in finance transformation and driving efficiency in accounting functions.

  • Retail industry experience is highly desirable.
