iMultiply are working in partnership with a well-known Glasgow based Accountancy Practice to recruit a Tax Senior.

The Company The Firm is a well established, independent Accountancy Practices with an enviable reputation for quality and professionalism.The RoleThe role of Tax Senior will have responsibility for ensuring our clients' personal and corporate tax matters are handled efficiently and accurately.Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Developing client relationships with regular contact by phone, email and in person.
  • Preparation, review and submission of corporate tax, personal tax returns, trust & estate returns and forms P11D
  • Opportunity to gain experience in advisory work, including research for tax planning, IHT and CGT work and HMRC enquiries.
  • Supervision and mentoring of junior staff ensuring their professional development.
  • Managing queries from HMRC.
  • Preparation of technical research notes for managers and partners

The Person

  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and knowledge of tax legislation, and a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a mixed tax role.
  • Candidates from either a Personal Tax or Corporate Tax background will definitely be considered
  • ATT qualification is essential. ?????
