Our client is a growing financial planning firm with an office based in central Glasgow. This role is employed, comes with a book to take over, offers hybrid working, a good salary and clearly defined bonus scheme. It is an excellent role working with a successful senior planner, with strong business development skills in an expanding firm. Our client is independent and directly authorised and has a excellent paraplanning and admin support team in place.  The role is to provide clients with specialist advice on how to manage their money. It will involve researching the marketplace and recommending the most appropriate products and services available, ensuring that clients are aware of products that best meet their needs.  Responsibilities include:
  • Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises
  • Conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision, and future aims
  • Analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements
  • Completing risk analyses
  • Researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services
  • Designing financial strategies
  • Assisting clients to make informed decisions
  • Researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products
  • Reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances
  • Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation.  
A likely candidate will be an experienced financial advisor, preferably chartered, or close to and will hold or have held Competent Advisor Status (CAS) before. Advisers may have a background in specialising in certain areas, however, they are happy, offering advice to clients in all areas of advice.
