An new and exciting opportunity has arisen due to expansion of this busy IFA practice for a senior Paraplanner.

If you have inspirations of becoming an adviser you will be able to join the companies Trainee Adviser programme after 1 year.

Your role as a senior paraplanner will be:

  • To provide technical and research support to the Advisers and assist the support team and compliance department where necessary
  • Assisting the Financial Advisers in establishing new client relationships and servicing existing relationships including meeting clients where appropriate
  • Preparing financial statements to support development of each client's strategy. This may involve the use of Financial Planning software tools.
  • Carrying out research and analysing products and services that are appropriate to each client's circumstances
  • Proposing and drafting financial solutions that meet each client's goals, needs and objectives
  • Ensure all recommendations meet with company standards and compliance
  • Collate research, illustrations and appropriate paperwork and assist with the accurate completion of application and proposal forms
  • Learn and maintain a detailed understanding of the firm's centralised investment proposition and relevant internal procedures
  • Ensure client records are maintained and information is correctly recorded on the back office system
  • Developing productive working relationships with colleagues and clients throughout the financial services environment, both within and outside the firm
