JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Familiarisation with the project, including but not limited to review of relevant parts of the Inter Array Cable contract, method statements and risk assessments as well as procedures - this may include commenting and attendance to meetings and workshops as required,
  • Act as project point of contact for internal as well as external stakeholders on site and maintain client / project interests in all belongings - this shall include conducting "stop the works" measures in case this is reasonably required,
  • Monitoring of cable manufacture, TP mock ups, mobilisation and demobilisation, inspection, load-out and installation works as well as marine operations,
  • Proactive early identification and follow-up of risks which require to be further mitigated,
  • Ensure the work is carried out in a manner ensuring suitable quality of the installation.
  • Check that the contractor(s) prepare and perform all activities in accordance with his own method statements and risk assessments, applicable HSE regulations and best practice as well as the Employer's Requirements of the IAC contract,
  • Function as contact person to the attending MWS (if required) and the Project Certification Agency or any other third party.
  • Participate in daily progress meetings at the fabrication yards/onboard vessels and review and comment MoM - if required by the Employer, the CR shall chair such meetings and issue and distribute MoM,
  • During the daily meetings, ensure all safety observation cards, near misses and accidents reports and HSE walk down reports etc. are suitably analysed and followed up with effective control measures,
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks and ensure the quality of these sessions are maintained at a suitable level with aim of prevention of incidents and accidents,
  • Ensure the contractor(s) conducts LMRAs - last minute risk assessments - just prior to critical operations and to ensure these are carried out with sufficient commitment and quality,
  • Review, comment and sign off the DPR; Inspection Report and Checklists as issued by the contractor, or provided by the Employer
  • Prepare reports / timesheets/ picture books/ Life cycle book and other documentation as requested by the Employer (note that the contract is based on an "all Adverse Weather inclusive basis),
  • Report status, opportunities, problems and suggest improvements to the Employers management team Onshore


Relevant experience in other Offshore Scopes will be an advantage including:

  • Tower Team Works or Supervision
  • Scour Installation

  • Offshore Medical
  • GWOs - 5 Modules
  • HUET
