Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Fee Earner, you will:
- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims across Scottish jurisdictions.
- Investigate and assess potential claims, engaging with medical experts to gather evidence.
- Draft legal documents, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in pre-litigation stages.
- Prepare cases for trial, working alongside senior team members on high-value, sensitive cases.
- Provide clear and effective legal advice to clients, maintaining strong client relationships.
What Were Looking For
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Be qualified in Scots Law with at least 2 years of experience handling Clinical Negligence matters.
- Have strong experience in managing multi-track cases.
- Possess excellent client management and communication skills.
- Be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Be comfortable managing complex caseloads and working under tight deadlines.
