Commercial Account Handler

Commercial Account Hander required to join a very well respected independent insurance broker in Glasgow due to rapid growth.

As the Commercial Account Handler you will be responsible for supporting the Account Executives as well as providing an exceptional delivery of service to a diverse range of clients. You will be broking new business for cross class commercial risks and negotiating with underwriters in order to gain the most favourable terms. You will also handle mid-term adjustments, cover extensions and pick up on any improvements in coverage. You will also be tasked with updating private equity reports and handling the Acturis system accurately.

Its important that you can bring some previous experience in an inurance related role and have a good level of technical knowledge to provide a strong level of client service. Our client is also looking for someone who is highly motivated, who would enjoy a challenging but rewarding role. It’s also essential that you can engage effectively with clients and build rapport with people at all levels
