Mullans Law Accountants Ltd have been in business for over 40 years and are now a long-established law accountancy firm currently based in Glasgow.

Over the years, we have established a reputation as one of the leading Law Accountancy firms in Scotland and have evolved in line with the ever-changing aspects of the business. Due to the development of our team along with entering a busy period we now require a Digital Accounts Apprentice to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work collaboratively across our network - this will include processing standard requests, problem solving to investigate issues, as well as reviewing process functionality
  • Learn to become an expert user on our bespoke internal systems and Sage so that you can process orders, action information requests, investigate issues and queries
  • You will work collaboratively across the business being the first point of contact to support others in the organisation to understand specific features our software, and how to use them for invoicing, business decisions, and customer correspondence
  • You will become a super user over the duration of your apprenticeship, leading to an expert level of knowledge which you will be required to share with other end users across the organisation
  • You will become proficient in using Microsoft Office, this will enable you to contribute to reporting for managing filing systems, coordinating diaries and reporting
  • You will serve as an initial point of contact greeting all visitors, completing general administrative tasks and play a key part in digital changes within the business

Desirable skills:

  • Good knowledge of Office 365, Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent timekeeping is essential
  • A highly organised individual who can work to deadlines
  • National 5 English and Maths would be beneficial along with an interest to pursue a career within accountancy

Salary:

£16,000 per annum

Working hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am - 2:30pm

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
