As an Endoscopy Practitioner, you will:
- Provide quality planned care across the endoscopy patient pathway.
- Support and assist the Endoscopy Practitioner Lead in managing and organising care within the endoscopy unit.
- Deliver quality care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures within your scope of practice.
- Participate in improving Essential Quality Requirements and Best Practice standards for flexible endoscopy services.
- Develop and enhance your skills and knowledge continuously.
- Registered Practitioner status with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Basic and advanced competence/qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
- Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
- Teaching/Assessing/Mentorship qualifications.
- Knowledge of standards and external bodies like the Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, and HTM 01-06.
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification.
