HGV 1 Driver - Glasgow Cambuslang
Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park - HGV Class 1 - New pass Drivers welcome with previous class 2 experience.
We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers for our depot in Cambuslang - Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 - 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages.
Permanent contract for successful candidate.
Immediate starts for successful candidates.
Shifts patterns available:
- Monday to Friday start 03:00
- Tuesday to Saturday start 03:00
- Sunday to Wednesday start 00:00
- Wednesday to Saturday start 00:00
Day pay rates: (PAYE)
- Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
- Saturday £17.85
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80
Nights pay rates: (PAYE)
- Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
- Saturday £20.39
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
- In date DIGI and CPC card
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
- Motivated and open to learn new skills.
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicles checks.
- Refuelling vehicles.
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
