Your new companyHays are delighted to be working in partnership with a logistics organisation based in the heart of Renfrewshire. The company is looking to add an additional HR Assistant to their team on a permanent basis for a. This is a newly created post reporting directly to the HR Manager.Your new role

  • You will be responsible for HR administrative and payroll processing.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR function
  • Providing first line support to managers and directing them to correct policies and procedures
  • Compiling and updating employee HR records and ensuring that they are maintained correctly on system
  • Supporting with attendance and absence issues
  • Uploading job posts, organising interviews and raising contracts
  • Organising training sessions
  • Note-taking in meetings

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience working in an HR environment or team
  • CIPD or relevant practical work experience
  • Experience within logistics, supply chain or manufacturing would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Working with highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to drive & have a car
