Do you have an interest in mechanical or electrical engineering?

Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Junior PAT Tester to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to work closely with the engineers to ensure all service and repairs are completed on time. 

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £26k, depending on experience, plus, regular pay reviews, company van fuel card, ongoing training and progression

This role is full time Permanent. The hours of work will be between 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide quality support to our customers through courteous and knowledgeable communication.
  • Ensure all jobs are attended to and repairs are completed within the contracted service level agreement.
  • Attend and complete scheduled planned maintenance services as instructed.
  • Attend and complete all scheduled Portable Appliance Test (PA Test) calls on time.
  • Maintain and control the highest standard of service and repair made to machinery.

The ideal candidate:

  • Engineer apprenticeship, vocational diploma or equivalent
  • Interest in mechanical/electrical engineering is advantageous.
  • Previous engineering work experience is preferred but not required.
  • Full UK manual driving license is essential
  • Physically fit for manual handling tasks, including lifting industrial equipment.
