Project Manager – Large Format Graphics

£35,000-£40,000 based on experience

 

We’re working with a leading provider of innovative and high-quality visual solutions, specializing in signage, large format graphics, point of sale (POS) materials, exhibitions, and events. Based in Glasgow, the business pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and creative solutions that meet the needs of a diverse client base.

Due to continued growth, they’re now seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects related to the large format side of the business - signage, graphics, POS, exhibitions, etc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing similar projects from inception to completion within the retail/hospitality industry, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

The Role:

- Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Oversee the entire project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
- Resource Coordination: Allocate and manage internal resources and coordinate with external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Provide regular updates and address any issues promptly.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Implement contingency plans to address any unforeseen challenges.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and safety guidelines.
- Budget & Cost Management: Provide cost estimates, monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are achieved, prepare financial reports and documentation.
- Performance Tracking: Track and analyse project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure a timely delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and final deliverables.

 

The Person

- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, marketing, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are preferred (or equivalent levels of employment experience)
 - Proven experience as a project manager in signage, large format graphics, POS, exhibitions, events, fit out, or similar.
- Strong background in project estimation and cost management.
  - Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
 - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
 - Proficiency in project management software and tools.
 - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Solid understanding of risk management principles and quality assurance.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for delivering high-quality visual solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Collaborative team player who fosters positive working relationships.

Salary & Benefits
The salary for this role is negotiable based on the individual, with a higher baseline salary on offer for a more senior level experienced candidate.

Typical working hours are around production and are 07:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on a Friday of 1:30pm, however some flexibility may be required based on the workload.
