What you will do:
- Respond to specific requests for basic engineering, repairs and maintenance throughout the facility.
- Minimise down time through an effective system of planned maintenance and prompt corrective actions in the event of breakdowns.
- Respond quickly to any breakdowns that do occur.
- Operate a fork lift truck within Production & Warehouse facility.
- Making sure that Health and Safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
- Recommend appropriate courses of action for line improvements and manage the implementation of new equipment in conjunction with suppliers and manufacturers.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience in working in a food manufacturing environment.
- Full driving license is essential.
- FLT qualification (Desirable but can be trained).
- Mechanical & Electrical engineering experience.
