Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multiskilled Technician to join our client in Renfrew, Glasgow. This role is crucial in supporting the closure of our production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for running out equipment for production and assisting with the decommissioning activities, including the physical dismantling of equipment. Electrical bias is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Assist in the decommissioning process by physically dismantling equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all activities.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
- Document and report any issues or incidents encountered during operations and decommissioning.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Technician or similar role in a production environment.
- Strong electrical skills and knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Experience with mechanical systems and equipment dismantling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Working Hours:
- Day shift rota
