Your new companyHays is happy to be partnering with a medium-sized chartered accountancy firm based in Glasgow city centre. The firm is currently experiencing a period of growth and therefore is looking to expand its payroll team. Known for its commitment to delivering high-quality accounting services, this client has built a strong reputation amongst its diverse clientele. The firm prides itself on fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment, where professional growth and development are highly encouraged.Your new roleIn this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, including monthly payroll runs. Your duties will involve analysing data, identifying variances, and preparing reports for management. You will handle bank journals, reconcile payroll accounts, administer year-end returns, and make payments to third parties. Additionally, you will manage various payroll matters such as P45s and P60s. Experience with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and P11Ds would be advantageous.
