Power and Propulsion Engineer

Location: Glasgow or Portsmouth (hybrid working)
Salary: Up to 50,000 (Based on experience)
Security: SC clearance (BPSS to start)

What You'll Do:

  • Lead technical analyses, design reviews, and investigations.
  • Develop, refine, and appraise Power & Propulsion systems in line with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members for effective performance and growth.
  • Make key decisions within your area of expertise, shaping cutting-edge systems.
  • Change management and supplier management

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong expertise in Power & Propulsion systems and integration.
  • Experience with system requirements and integration within highly regulated industries.
  • Ideally, knowledge of shaft line equipment, steering gear, and active stabilisers.
