Job description

First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a QHSE Manager to join an established and growing company in the Glasgow region. Our client is an esteemed manufacturer, dedicated to heavy industrial products worldwide.

What's on Offer:

  • Straight to permanent position
  • Salary up to 50k per annum
  • 37hr work week however may be required to work the occasional weekend/evening when needed
  • 5 days per week, Monday to Friday

This role will report directly to the Head of Operations and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the QHSE policies and administrative goals of the business are met.

Duties will involve the following:

  • Developing, leading, managing and maintaining the companies health, safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and compliance to ISO9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Design and manage the company QHSE internal audit schedule.
  • Liase with internal and external, stakeholders and departments related to QHSE regarding audits and contractual requirements.
  • First and final inspection of components manufactured.
  • Plan, manage and deliver all QHSE department related activities.

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

  • Have internal auditor certification in ISO9001
  • Prior experience in a QHSE capacity within an engineering company
  • Prior experience in ISO9001, 14001 and 45001
