Job Duties:The Senior Detail Designer - Electrical will be responsible for creating detailed designs and technical drawings for electrical systems in engineering projects, with a focus on military and defence applications. This includes interpreting technical specifications, collaborating with engineers and other team members, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications:- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in detail design within the engineering sector
- Proficiency in FORAN CAD software and other design tools
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field or HND with relevant experience
Experience:At least 5 years of experience in detail design for electrical systems
Knowledge and Skills:- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional certification in design or engineering
The role of Senior Detail Designer - Electrical may involve working in an office environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and occasional site visits. The position may require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
