Technical Sales Professional North of England & Scotland

£40,000 - £45,000 Per Annum

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Professional for our well-established, reputable client.

We are looking for an effective, sales-driven person to join a sales team covering the North of England and Scotland.

The role will involve selling of specialist products across a wide variety or market sectors. The role is technical and industrial sales, so some experience of sales within these areas is required.

Working closely with the sales managers you will support an existing client base while growing sales in your region and be part of a successful UK team collectively to grow the UK business.

You will be educating key influencers about the functions and benefits of the products and why they are critical to their future design success.

We are looking for someone with experience of sales of technical products.


Duties:
  • Selling of product to clients with your region and across varying sectors.
  • Maintaining existing relationships and ensuring continued sales and support.
  • Attending meetings face-to-face and through re mote applications.
  • Providing education on products and their benefits.
  • Working closely with a coordinating activity with the UK sales team.

Required Attributes:
  • Sales experience within technical and/or industrial fields
  • Proven record of success within technical sales and specific driven sales
  • Able to generate new business and network effectively
  • Able to consistently achieve agreed sales targets
  • Educated to degree level or similar level
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Be able to communicate at all levels effectively
  • Able to travel across a territory and be able to stay overnight as required for meetings, exhibitions, networking events & conferences
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Able to prepare sales reports, forecasting and budgeting reports
  • Project management & delivery skills
