Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate and assemble metal structures
- Cutting, shaping, and welding metal components to precise measurements
- Conducting rigorous inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of completed work
- Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Performing routine maintenance on fabrication equipment
Job Requirements:
- Experience in fabricating and plating within the Defence sector
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications related to metal fabrication
- Proficiency with tools and machinery used in metalwork, including cutting and welding equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and meet project timelines
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in industrial work environments
