Your new company

Hays are delighted to be supporting our client to source a detail-oriented Content Designer to join their team on a contract basis for 7 months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising content across various platforms to enhance user experience and engagement. This role is offered on a remote basis. Please note that you MUST be based in the United Kingdom and have full right to work in the UK. Your new roleYour role will indulge but not limited to:

  • Develop content for websites, applications, and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with design and functionality.
  • Conduct user research and testing to inform content strategy decisions.
  • Create and maintain content guidelines and standards.
  • Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for various digital channels.
  • Optimise content for SEO and accessibility.
  • Analyse content performance and make data-driven improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content design and UX writing.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Content Designer
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and design tools (Canva).
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
