Job Opportunity: Technical Director - Water Infrastructure Team

Our client is seeking to strengthen their Glasgow office with the addition of a Technical Director to their established Water Infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain key relationships with clients at both local and national levels.
  • Actively participate in winning new projects through effective bid management, proposal development, and scope definition.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development.
  • Ensure projects are well-resourced, profitable, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team.


Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Chartered status with a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience in design, project management, and bid delivery.
  • Strong technical background in water and/or wastewater treatment, hydraulics, storage, and collection systems, with knowledge of UK design standards.
  • Willingness to take on diverse project types and travel for site visits, including international locations if necessary.
