Your new roleAs Health & Safety Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing a safe workplace without risk to health.
  • Providing advice and support to all areas of the business.
  • Managing and developing the H&S department, including training and supervising H&S staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with all current H&S legislation and best practices.
  • Acting as the main H&S regulatory liaison, communicating with relevant bodies (customers, HSE, etc.).
  • Conducting regular H&S audits of all construction sites and implementing necessary measures from audits/assessments.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need previous experience working as a Health & Safety Manager for a busy construction company and will have some of the below skills/experience:

  • Degree in Health & Safety or Construction relevant field.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH
  • Chartered Memberships in health and safety.
  • Experience in a groundworks/civils company.
  • 5-10 years' experience in health & safety topics.
