The Interim HSE Manager is a critical role in the Engineering & Manufacturing department of a renowned FMCG company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing health, safety, and environmental risks within our clients manufacturing site in the West of Scotland.

Description

  • Managing and implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies
  • Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation
  • Delivering HSE training to staff
  • Investigating and reporting on accidents and incidents
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies as required
  • Implementing improvements to safety practices and procedures
  • Promoting a positive HSE culture within the company

Profile

A successful Interim HSE Manager should have:

  • A degree in Health and Safety Management or a related field would be beneficial
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
  • Strong understanding of HSE legislation and guidelines
  • Experience in managing HSE within the FMCG industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to deliver training and promote a positive HSE culture
