Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring eQiciency and high standards.
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
- Conduct regular staQ meetings and performance evaluations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and dining experience.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Financial Performance:
- Develop and manage forecasts to achieve financial targets.
- Analyse financial reports and implement strategies to increase profitability.
- Monitor and control labour and operational costs.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with the executive team on strategic initiatives.
Quality Control:
- Maintain the authenticity and quality of Italian cuisine served.
- Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a premium dining or upscale casual
- dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and dining culture.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
