We currently have a vacancy in Parkville Blantyre for the role of General Manager

What Your Role will involve:

  • Operational Management:Oversee all aspects of operations, including staffing,inventoryand maintenance. Ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective daily operationsto achieveoptimummanpowerlevels.
  • Financial Performance:Develop and manage budgets,analysefinancialreportsand implement strategies to drive revenue growth and control costs. Achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
  • Customer Experience:Ensure a consistentlyhigh levelof customer service. Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly tomaintainhigh satisfaction levels.Ensure,through regular monitoring,that standards of comfort, atmosphere,cleanlinessand safety aremaintained.
  • Staff Leadership:Recruit, trainand develop a high-performing team. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
  • Sales and Marketing:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events.Identifyopportunities to attract new customers andretainexisting ones.
  • Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations,EHO,licensing lawsand company policies. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
  • Inventory Management:Oversee inventory levels, ordersuppliesand manage vendor relationships. Ensure stock control and minimize waste.
  • Community Engagement:Build andmaintainrelationships with local communities and organizations. Represent the pub at local events and initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning:Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance thevenues market position and competitiveness. Align operational activities with the companys overall goals.

As the ideal GeneralManageryou must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years similar experience
  • Excellent management and development skills
  • Excellent organisation and people skills
