Peace Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Heating Engineers to work across the central belt. You will be part of a team that is passionate about delivering outstanding safety, quality, and value by tackling complex industrial and commercial heating and pipework challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • The installation, maintenance, and repair of various heating systems in both commercial and industrial environments. Your tasks will include:
  • You will be in charge of installing diverse heating systems, including steam, MTHW, and LTHW boilers, pipework, pumps, valves, expansion vessels, and pressure vessels.
  • Your role will involve maintaining and repairing heating systems and associated pipework, identifying issues, troubleshooting, and replacing faulty components as necessary.
  • Youll be expected to thoroughly inspect all work to ensure it meets industry standards and follows the required specifications.
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols is crucial. Youll ensure that safety devices are correctly installed, and follow established safety procedures at all times.
  • Effective communication is key in this role. Youll interact with customers and collaborate with other engineers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Youll bring your expertise to diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during installation, maintenance, or repairs, ensuring minimal disruption and effective solutions.
  • You will be the face of our company for many of our customers, providing clear explanations of technical information, answering inquiries, and offering efficient solutions to their heating challenges.

Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ qualification in HVAC or Heating Engineering.
  • Experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems and pipework is essential.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
