HR Administrator (6 Month FTC)

About the Role:
I am looking for an experienced and motivated HR Administrator to join a well-established legal firm in Glasgow on a temporary 6-month contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support key HR functions, enabling the business to achieve its growth ambitions while fostering the development of our people.


You will play a pivotal role in delivering core HR services to the business, supporting a variety of HR processes and projects.

This role is Mon - Fri 9:00 - 17:00. This role does offer a hybrid working policy with up to 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:


HR Administration & Projects
* Assist with various HR projects as required, contributing to their success
* Provide end-to-end administrative support for recruitment processes, including graduate recruitment, summer placements, and the annual NQ process
* Support training initiatives by liaising with providers, coordinating schedules, and distributing materials


System Management & Reporting
* Maintain and update the HR system
* Utilise the HRIS to generate timely and precise reports


Employee Lifecycle Management
* Manage administrative tasks for new hires, leavers, and changes to employee terms and conditions
* Act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses
Ad-Hoc Support
* Undertake additional duties as needed to support the HR team.

The successful candidate will possess:


Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in an HR Assistant role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, and the ability to use data effectively to inform business priorities.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organisation.
* Self-motivated with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a constructive approach to challenges.
