Our client is a leading engineering business, who as a result of growth need to recruit a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to support their growing business. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute to our overall success.

Reporting to the Board you shall have offer a broad generalist HR support across the business and its sites. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Some transactional HR processes; contracts, on & offboarding, ensuring HR systems are robust and fi for purpose, absence management, Payroll control, and monitor training programs
  • HR advisory; support business leaders to ensure best practise, disciplinary & grievance oversight, talent acquisition and retention program control
  • HR Projects; review of HR policies & procedures to ensure compliance, develop new HR policies, support and develop company-wide staff communications and well-being initiatives.

It is expected that you shall have proven experience in an HR generalist role, be working towards full CIPD qualification, possess first class communication skills including the ability to manage up as well as down. You will be proficient in the use of HR systems, as well as the MS suite of products, and be comfortable working with a multi-disciplined business with sites across the UK. This role is office based, a hybrid model does not exist at this point. The role will also involve occassional UK travel between sites.
