As we continue to expand, we are looking for a proactive HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team and support key HR functions across the business. Role Overview

As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of HR operations. You will assist with recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, and HR administration while working closely with the wider team to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening applications, and coordinating interviews
  • Preparing HR documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials
  • Maintaining and updating employee records in compliance with GDPR and company policies
  • Supporting payroll processes by tracking absences, new hires, and contract changes
  • Assisting in organising training sessions and employee development initiatives
  • Handling employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures
  • Contributing to HR projects such as employee engagement, wellbeing programs, and diversity initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies

Who We Are Looking For

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in HR or an administrative role is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn HR software
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work well in a team
  • A strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
