IT Business Analyst - Investments - UK Clearings & Custody services - Glasgow Hybrid
Are you an experienced IT Business Analyst with a deep understanding of the UK clearing and custody landscape? I am working with a global Investment Bank in Glasgow, looking for an IT & Change Business Analyst to work on ongoing improvement and new solutions delivery within their UK Clearing and Custody team.
In this permanent role, you'll play a critical part in shaping the business's future by developing and implementing operating models and technologies that enhance client delivery. Your role will involve Change Management, Project Quality Assurance, and stakeholder relationship management, ensuring the seamless delivery of critical solutions to both internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document end-to-end business processes, identifying improvements aligned with business goals
- Lead and support change management initiatives, quality control, and risk mitigation
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop project proposals, high-level plans, and ensure user acceptance and satisfaction
- Manage small to medium projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget
What You Bring:
- Proven expertise in UK Market Clearance and Custody, with hands-on experience in business analysis, change management, or process development
- Strong communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Problem-solving mindset, with adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments
Desirable skills:
- IT Development Life Cycle experience
- Knowledge of SWIFT Messaging, Fidessa, Corporate Action, Broker Dealer Activity, UK Clearing and Settlements, etc.
