Our client, BAE Systems is currently seeking a Senior Engineer specialised in BoM Management to join their team on a contract basis in Scotstoun. This role involves hybrid working arrangements with a requirement for on-site presence two days a week, potentially reducing to one.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with stakeholders, particularly engineers creating changes
  • Implementing changes in Bills of Material (BoM)
  • Managing and updating BoM forms
  • Utilising Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
  • Applying knowledge across design and build industries, beyond defence
  • Providing engineering and configuration management expertise
  • Conducting data analytics and managing product breakdown structures
  • Focusing on and completing specific tasks efficiently


Job Requirements:

  • Experience with BoM management
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in PLM systems
  • Understanding of configuration management
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Ability to develop and manage product breakdown structures
