Our client, BAE Systems is currently seeking a Senior Engineer specialised in BoM Management to join their team on a contract basis in Scotstoun. This role involves hybrid working arrangements with a requirement for on-site presence two days a week, potentially reducing to one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with stakeholders, particularly engineers creating changes
- Implementing changes in Bills of Material (BoM)
- Managing and updating BoM forms
- Utilising Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Applying knowledge across design and build industries, beyond defence
- Providing engineering and configuration management expertise
- Conducting data analytics and managing product breakdown structures
- Focusing on and completing specific tasks efficiently
Job Requirements:
- Experience with BoM management
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in PLM systems
- Understanding of configuration management
- Strong data analytical skills
- Ability to develop and manage product breakdown structures
