Service Desk Executive / Service Desk Administrator

Circa £25,000

We are looking for a suitably experienced person for a Service Desk role with our client in Cumbernauld. In this role you would be supporting and maintaining customers and proactively working with them and your engineering colleagues to successfully resolve any problems or technical issues. Please note, this is NOT an IT Support position.

For this role we need someone who has previous service desk / helpdesk experience or a business / B2B customer service background, ideally along with some technical experience as well. You will need to have great organisational skills, be able to work in a busy environment, and also have good computer and administration skills as well.

Your role will include:

  • Working and liaising with your engineers to schedule customer appointments
  • Identifying, diagnosing and rectifying customers issues
  • Resolve any customer complaints quickly and efficiently
  • Managing equipment deployment as well as ensuring all kit is available for jobs
  • Answering phone calls, taking messages and connecting calls to the proper people
  • Day-to-day use of CRM system
  • Oversee helpdesk support operations
  • Reporting updates of jobs to senior management
  • Generating reports
