Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Cisco Engineer for network upgrades and installations in Glasgow and the Central Belt area.
The role requires a strong background in networking and Cisco Router/Switch installation, along with VPN setup and configuration skills.
Candidates should have a field background due to the travel involved, and must have a valid driver's license and access to a car.
Experience in testing and decommissioning old equipment is also necessary for this position.
The position offers a competitive salary and requires candidates to be available to start at the end of April.

Network Engineer

We are looking for a Cisco Engineer to undertake a number of upgrades, installing new Cisco equipment, decommissioning old kit as well as other requests based around Cisco products, including being comfortable with editing configurations, setting up VPN’s etc. The role will involve travel around Glasgow and the Central Belt area so you must drive and have access to a car, expenses to be paid.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong background in networking, ideally certified
Strong background in Cisco Router/Switch installation and support
Experience of testing, you will be required to test and then remove old kit
Strong VPN knowledge, configs, set-up etc.
Ideally from a field background as the role will require a lot of travel.
Available to start at the end of April.
