Role Overview

We're seeking a Head of Data Management with a focus on Tools & Platforms for a large-scale, regulatory data program (BCBS). You'll lead technical solutions and provide strategic consultancy for a significant transformation project in the retail banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Act as a business consultant, overseeing the development and integration of data management tools, focusing on Calibre as the primary solution.
  • Solution Evaluation: Work closely with the solutions architect team to assess and implement new technologies within a framework of risk management.
  • Ownership of Technology Solutions: Take charge of technology solutions aligned with BcBs regulatory standards, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Collaboration and Guidance: Work with 2nd line of defense, focusing on risk management within a retail finance environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in data lineage, data quality, and tooling solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of BCBS239 regulatory standards, with proven experience implementing similar programs within a financial institution.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (experience preferred but not required).
  • Experience managing large-scale programs in data architecture, with a background in leading technical teams and guiding solution design.
