Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a significant, long-term project aimed at enhancing student digital services. This is a permanent role, offering the opportunity to manage a 3-year project focused on improving the digital experience for students. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the project, ensuring that key improvements are made to the student digital services, enhancing overall student satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Student Digital Services Enhancement project, ensuring successful delivery across its 3-year timeline.
  • Coordinate resources and manage stakeholders to ensure the project meets its objectives on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, risks, and progress.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to implement new digital solutions for students.
  • Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Oversee the application of Prince2 or equivalent project management methodologies to ensure quality standards and governance.
  • Facilitate change management processes, ensuring smooth adoption of new services by students and staff.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prince2 Practitioner certification or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale IT or digital service improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of student-facing digital services and their impact on student experience.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in managing long-term projects with clear milestones and deliverables.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work and on-site presence as required.
