Morgan Hunt are working with a leading public sector organisation to recruit an IT Service Desk Analyst role with a leading Public Sector client in Glasgow.

Key Details:
  • Rate: £300-£350 per day (umbrella)
  • Location: Glasgow city centre (3 days in office minimum)
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm (flexibility required to cover shifts)
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Start Date: 2 weeks
Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end-users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and systems.
  • Manage personal ticket queues and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service and maintain a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
Technical Skills Required (LEAD):
  1. Microsoft Technologies:
    • Active Directory (user management, group policies, etc.)
    • Exchange Services (email configuration, mailbox management)
    • Windows 10 Operating System
    • Office 2016 & Office 365 (O365)
  1. Hardware Support:
    • Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  1. Time Management & Troubleshooting:
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
    • Systematic approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Desirable Skills:
  • Azure Technologies: Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure AD, cloud services).
  • AV Equipment Basics: Understanding of audio-visual equipment and troubleshooting.
Soft Skills:
  • Customer Service: Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Learning Agility: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
  • Ticket Management: Ability to manage and prioritize support tickets effectively.
