SYSTEMS ANALYST - INITIAL 5 MONTH CONTRACT - INSIDE IR35

One of Loriens leading Public Sector clients is looking for highly skilled Systems Analyst to join their team on an initial 5 month contract.

This client is Glasgow based but is open to remote working for the right candidate.

Description of Role

You will be part of an established agile delivery team working to deliver a new back-office database and associated reporting applications. This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role where working independently whilst collaborating effectively within the wider team is key.

Essential Skills

  • Data Design and Modelling within an Oracle environment to support business requirements.
  • Proficiency in taking business requirements and transforming these into a technical solution.
  • Proficiency in documenting functional specifications.
  • Provide feedback on technical solutions and data models to business analysts and development teams.
  • Proficient in PL/SQL and SQL.
  • Proven experience in Oracle RDBMS database development. Design, develop and modify relational database objects including Tables, View, Packages, Triggers and Indexes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., MS DevOps).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of MS DevOps.
