Who we are: Harper Macleod.

We are currently seeking an Apprentice Systems Analyst who will be based in our Glasgow office. They will be based within the Operations Department as part of the Information Systems team. The goal of the Apprentice Systems Analyst is to contribute to Harper Macleod’s objectives by improving departmental efficiencies, satisfying client requirements, managing risks and assisting business building opportunities.

You will be working towards a Level 8 Software Diploma. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting System Analysts and Project Consultants with requirements gathering, system development, system documentation, report writing, system testing and system evaluation.
  • Performing regular system maintenance tasks.
  • Providing support to the business' system users in relation to information systems.
  • Preparing and sending regular internal reports and management information.
  • Creating and maintaining document styles and workflow applications.
  • Assisting members of the Operations Department with a variety of tasks as and when required

Salary: £19,838 per annum.

Working week:Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, 35hrs a week.

Future prospects:Should you perform well in this role, there is an opportunity for you to take up a permanent position at the end of your qualification. Many of our previous apprentices are still with the company.

Your future salary will be discussed should you be offered a permanent role.
