Digital Senior Analyst - Legal

- Glasgow (perm, hybrid (3 days in office)

We are seeking an experienced Legal Senior Digital Analyst to support various areas of Legal Technology. The role is with a leading international law firm with an excellent reputation going through a period of growth and development in their Digital Services.

The Role:

  • Managing digital services and supporting requests.
  • Automating legal documents, tasks and processes using their Digital technology tools.
  • Using tools to design, configure and/or develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts and final build of digital service solutions and other online interfaces.
  • Working within the Microsoft stack to develop client facing solutions.
  • Creating and maintaining technical standards QC standards and checking technical processes for all work produced within digital services.
  • Liaising with internal and external clients to understand their digital and Technical requirements and work with the team to develop solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Develop relationships to raise awareness of our digital service offerings and the value they create in-house, enable and identify new areas of opportunity to leverage the firms’ digital capability to support client needs.
  • Assisting with the scoping and pricing of digital services projects and contribute to pitches and presentations.
  • Assisting with team reporting and general financial management.
  • Leading team and client training sessions.
  • Liaising with technology vendors, organising technology demos and assisting with the design, implementation of trials, pilots and proof-of-concepts for new tools.
  • Ensure activities and duties are carried out in a compliant way following regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Candidate:

  • Good technical skills with experience in implementation of technology solutions for clients and customers, providing high quality service and support in relation to such solutions. Able to self-manage workload, prioritise and deliver work to deadlines.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, demonstrate ability to adapt to different people and situations. Works collaboratively. Clearly understand instructions and not be afraid to ask for clarity or challenge instructions where appropriate.
  • Attention to detail, works to a very high standard without supervision. A problem-solver who shows resilience and ability to develop.
  • Interest in evolving areas of technology such as data automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics is desirable.
  • Prior experience or exposure to legal sector is preferred or other professional services delivery.

Education and Technical

  • Relevant experience within Information Technology, Business Management, Finance and/or Law.
  • A good knowledge of fundamental programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS would be a plus.
  • Other Technical Knowledge - Whilst specialising in the Digital stack e.g. includes HighQ, Contract Express, Microsoft Power Stack etc. the successful candidate will also be expected to develop a working knowledge of other tools in the technology toolkit e.g. RelativityOne. Experience of PowerApps is useful.
  • Candidates must be a UK Citizen or have Permanent Residency.
  • Language skills a plus not required but excellent communication
