Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a well-established Higher Education organisation who require an Integration Developer on a full time position.

Role Overview

Develop, implement, and maintain business applications, including the Boomi Enterprise Integration Platform, to support university operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs and develop technical solutions.
  • Collaborate on Boomi integrations, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Create technical documentation.
  • Conduct performance and integration testing.
  • Assist with user guides and training.
  • Monitor systems and provide third-line support.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
  • Manage workload, provide estimates, and track tasks.

Dimensions

  • Manage 5-10 integrations, contribute to major projects.
  • Support IT infrastructure for 4 colleges, 20+ schools, and 200+ departments.
  • Impact 8,000+ staff, 30,000+ students, and applicants.

Knowledge/Experience

Essential:

  • Relevant experience or SCQF level 9-11 qualification.
  • Expertise in enterprise integration, middleware, and data integration (JMS, SOAP/REST, databases).
  • Proficiency in messaging technologies (XML, JSON, web services, HTTP).
  • Agile development experience (Scrum, story estimation).
  • Full integration lifecycle experience (analysis, design, development, testing).
  • Collaboration in corporate development teams.
  • Workload management to maximize value.

Desirable:

  • Basic FOI/DPA knowledge.
  • Experience with Boomi Enterprise Integration Platform, SQL, and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in Java, Groovy, JavaScript.
  • Experience with Boomi Enterprise Integration Platform or similar (MuleSoft).
  • Agile project teamwork.
