Vertex IT Solutions is seeking an IT Support Engineer for a contract role at a government site in Glasgow.
The position involves assisting with an office move and supporting non-technical staff with new technologies from March 8th to March 23rd.
Enhanced pay rates are offered for out of hours and weekend work, including 1.5x for Saturdays and 2x for Sundays.
Candidates must have a valid SC clearance and at least 2 years of experience in IT support.
The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to commute to Glasgow during the contract period.

Vertex It Solutions are recruiting for a skilled IT Support Engineer on a contract basis on behalf of our valued MSP client to operate at their government customer's site in Glasgow. This will be to help out with an office move and floorwalking to support non-technical staff with new technologies.

This role will operate from Saturday 8th March - Sunday 23rd March with enchanced pay to cover out of hours and weekend work (1.5x out of hours, 1.5x Saturday and 2x Sunday).

General duties include:

Assisting with large monitor moves
Patching and unpatching circa 40 desks
Assisting with the move of telephone turrets

To qualify:

Must have a valid (SC clearance)
Must be able to commute to Glasgow for the duration of the contract
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have 2+ years experience in IT support
