Description

You will be working with a supportive and professional business that will invest in your career longer term, and for this you will be rewarded with a salary of up to £35,000 DOE with further benefits to include; Company Bonus Scheme, industry leading maternity and paternity policies, buy and sell holiday scheme and no working over Christmas and New Year.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all 1st and 2nd line support issues, resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Resolving more difficult software and hardware issues.
  • Systems upgrades, configurations and installations.
  • Ensuring that all technical documentation is maintained.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, and vendors for support externally as and when required.

Please note - this role is based 5 days on site, so please only apply if you can commit to a fully office based role.

Profile

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience working within a Helpdesk role is essential.
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Domain and Group Policy administration
  • Virtulization; Hyper-V would be highly advantageous.
  • Backup policies using Veaam (or similar).
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions in a non-technical way to staff members.
  • Networking (TCP/IP,VPN,DNS,DHCP,WAN,LAN, Router/Firewall configuration).
