Our client, a prestigious law firm located in the heart of Glasgow, is seeking an Internal IT Technician to support their critical IT infrastructure. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of their IT systems, providing support to legal professionals and administrative staff alike.
IT TechnicianGlasgow City Centre/Onsite£30,000 - £35,000
Main Duties:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal staff across various departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Maintain and manage the firm's IT infrastructure.
- Assist in the execution and management of IT projects.
- Monitor and enhance IT security measures to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Support office equipment, including PCs, laptops, and printers.
Tech Stack:
- Windows Server and Active Directory
- Office 365 administration
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP)
- Hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V/VMWare)
- Legal-specific software and document management systems
- Software deployment and patch management
